The beam of sunlight, sharp and bright touched on my forehead as the shuttle took a south turn. The amazing empowering rays were so spectacular that their magnificence could be felt even through my closed eyes. That day, I dared to stare at the sun. Bold and barefaced, I wanted to capture the sight of the sun! Definitely, I couldn’t see through because of its intense shine. However, I noticed the amazing rays of sun bending and passing at angles through my brownish black eyelashes and directing me towards my wrist watch glass dial shining due to sunlight. Struck by the awesomeness, I realized the day was done and the dusk was about to show up. It was that moment, when I was living in the moment.
With a magical idea of life running in my mind, I looked at the Bohemian Hookah Cafe and stepped off as the shuttle stopped. Some of my batch mates hopped off too at the stop and we all began to walk across the road. The business suits and a classy laptop bag in hand; we all walked in a rhythm. The tick tock sound of the leather shoes tapping on the road resonated on the street as we marched on our respective ways. But when we all changed directions the impression of the small chats, rhythmic tick tock of shoes and shadows of the happy faces bidding goodbye with a see you soon remarks marked the existence of some connections.
Connections and friendships are as magical as these small moments. When I left my bunch of buddies in my home country, I thought it would be another trip to get hold of friends. But stories don’t end. Sun’s brightness may not let one see what’s going on, however, if we dare to keep looking, the beauty from another direction is certainly revealed. People from different places tune up to give life the necessary elevation and then we have our old buddies and new buddies and so on. The rhythm continues. The passion of the universe to make you live passionately continues to leave a remark of ‘see you soon’.
About a month back, I discovered strengthening of bonds might not really need years of knowledge of each other’s existence and routine. Short random restroom search adventures at midnight, a calm peaceful talk with someone by the river side, short conversations on a pub’s rooftop watching the skyline, a 3am trip to ice cream parlor with people like you; they all build strong connections and friendships. I believe, these bonds are special because one wasn’t really looking after some. People show up like odd timed pleasant gifts in our lives. It’s like life saying out to you ‘Hey hi! Remember at that dusk, I told you will see you soon!’ And all you are left with is the most satiated radiant smile.
Someone once said to me, we don’t need to seek for anybody’s presence all the time in life. Life is self sufficient and full of sunlight bends exalting one another. The wind, the cloud, the trees, the sun and lives, all are together one giant ocean and they together make it self sufficient. They are on the whole attached to one another yet detached enough to be independent to live for their purpose. The scheme of life is so beautifully entangled that the stories of your life shall always keep building.
It may be the matter of my perspective; however, every moment is powerful and positive. Life is forever amazing! When we meet some people just like that without planning or targeting, it feels like we are so associated with them yet we are dissociated enough to walk alone in joy as there was nothing to be achieved more than sharing the moments where we were ‘living in that moment’.
Odd timed pleasant gifts! … So little of them yet so special to throwback you in time to ‘ Re-Live the moment’ .. Nice !
