How much do we want to boast?
How much would be enough?
There is no end, its a greedy ghost!
Lets wake up, our hands are already in the cuff!
We are doomed in the quest of gratification!
Look at our actions, they are all seeking satisfaction!
Our work is a shabby game as we focus on the returns!
Our work is a shabby game as we would brag about the upturns!
We often wonder, ahh! I don’t show off about my glories!
We often however, sense the pride that we made victories!
And my friend, that again is sensing gratification!
Our ego is still longing for its satisfaction!
And we talk about the sacrifices and our struggles!
And yet again to ourselves, we gratify for making through the troubles!
We are all trapped in the tangles of the ego’s lust!
Look at our actions almost all are for satisfying this thirst!
How much do we want to boast?
How much would be enough?
There is no end, its a greedy ghost!
How about waking up and getting rid of this handcuff!
